ok what speedo gear do i need, its an 89 tranny and has the 7 tooth drive. 3.90s are going in so....
and also. when i got my t5 parts, i did not get the driveshaft, or the crossmmember
I hear there is driveshaft modification to be done and the crossmember weld must be cut...
can someone go into good detail or maybe even post a good t5 swap guide on the net??
and finally, whats a good way to modify the stock shifter to eliminate that gay rubber thing.... I plan to purchase a short throw but i need to get the basics done so the short throw will have to wait until later to get it.
So i figured make the best of what i got for the mean time. I was thinking get a spacer or a shorter bolt, but i looked at the shift handle and it looks like that it wont have holes to use if i remove the rubber...
