Who sells a kit?
Do you ue the stock clutch linkage or do you convert to cable?
Do you need a new crossmember?
I'm up on the balence and the flywheel needs and I understand the driveshaft may need to be shortened. I tried searching, but it didn't answer my questions.
I'm in the middle of this myself. You will need a crossmember ($130), tranny mount ($40), clutch cable ($260) and a pedal assembly if your car was originally an automatic. If you don't have the donor car itself, you'll need a yoke as well. Otherwise you could use the yoke from the donor. I'm sure there are better bargain hunters on this site, but I went with Mustangs Plus for the conversion parts. The price was roughly the same as other vendors of the same type. I was trying to find a clutch cable adapter so I could use the cable from the donor, but I've heard mixed things about the adapters. Guess I'll just plunk more $$$ for a new one.
