I have begun the teardown of my WCT5 in preparation for the Astroperformance spec T5Z question is, along with the gears, which rebuild kit am I going to have to go with? Do I need the full 95 piece kit? Are there any additional parts that I am going to need? This will be going in my fresh 306, AFr165 headed beast build.

Up to you really. The higher peice kits just get into replacing bearings and such.

At this point. With what ypu are about to invest in this tranny, spend a bit more and make everything virtually new. Wuld sucks to get it together to disccpover a bad bearing causing whine

Replace all of the parts. May as well start fresh. Mine was converted to a t5z got the parts from D&D

Oh..Also I would spend the extra money and buy billet steel sync keys. I learned the hard way. If you build to abuse don't cheap out on the sync keys because they will shear off. I bought billet keys from http://www.thegearbox.org/home.html No more problems.
