Would a T5 tranny from a 5.0 bolt right up to a 3.8 without modification? And if so, could it be bolted to the 3.8 clutch bellhousing or would I need the 5.0's bellhousing? While searching for a used trans, I come across mostly T5's from 5.0's. Wanna know if I can go ahead and use those instead of searching the hard to find 3.8 tranny. I need a trans because my 2nd gear synchro is shot. 1st gear sync isn't far behind. I'm getting tired of grinding 2nd gear not to mention this is eating the gears up.Thanks in advance.

yes, it will bolt, but you cannot use it. The input on the pre 94 t5's are too short to be used with a 94+ v6
