I have a 2001 GT,...I'm installing an after market tach. I have to install a tach adapter,....

Where is the best place to tape into the crankshaft senor wiring?

What tach adapter do you need for a 98 MGT?? I wanna put on a tach on mine too. MSD has a couple, one for 55 and the other for 30. At shucks

Model numbers??

I used PEP Tach Adapter and wired it right into the wire harness that goes in the the ECM, as the instructions showed. Hooked up an Autometer Tach and worked great.

I'm using the adapter that FORD markets.
It says to tap into the crankshaft sensor wiring. I found the wiring,.......maybe I should look for it at the control unit myself?
