I am looking at getting a set of smoked tail lights for my '86 GT. I see some manufacturers are saying 87-93 and others are saying 83-93. I want some that will set right in, no mods except maybe taillight sockets. Anyone know what will work? Thanks
yep 83-84 and 85-86 are the same except trim on the 83-84 is black as opposed to charcoal on 85-86, and they redesigned taillights for 1987-1993, with the LX differing from the GT. They all fit the same way though.
