tonight when i turned my car off the right tail light stayed on. the right most bulb is twice as bright as the rest. including the bulbs in the other tail light.
06 gt 40,000 miles. it seems like as soon as my 35k warranty expired stuff started breaking (seat brackets) seat lever.
Check your brake light switch. Try depressing/pulling the plunger on the switch.
The switch is part of the brake pedal assembly. Just take a look underneath your dash, and you'll see and hear the switch as you press the brake pedal.
I am having the same issue, except that when I turn my car off, 30 seconds later my two inner brake lights stay on, and my license plate light stays on. This is with the car turned off, the lights turned off and the doors locked. It is raining here today, so I don't know if that would be why.
