Hey guys I just completed a H/C/I swap on my 1990 lx. I went with a stage 1 trick flow cam, some twisted wedge heads, and the GT40 upper and lower intakes. I also have some comp cam 1.6 stud mounted rockers and trick flow 6.700 pushrods. I went to add my tall valve covers purchased from summit racing last night and the oil shield on the inside of the valve cover is still touching my adjuster screws on the rockers. does anyone know if this is a common issue with the trick flow heads? and if so what is a good solution? I have read that some people remove the oil shield but it causes leaks and others use 2 gaskets which seems like it would also leak. please help!!
