so i decided to do the whole summit seat thing after looking at some of the cars from guys on here....

Install isn't that bad...but it really helps if you are working with another person. I didn't have a whole of time to work on it because of school/work so i often rushed and made stupid mistakes. But overall i really like them and it was worth it. Oh yeah only one seat is in because I have to hit up a junkyard for a seat track...i decided to ditch the power stuff...

I also laid down new black carpet and dynamat. I still have work to do but nothing major. Had to trim pieces here and there and still have some more to do. I also think im goin to get some spray glue so i can hold down the carpet in the places where it's bunching up. Easy fix just haven't had the time.

Looks good! I did something very similar with mine, and I like it a lot more than the stock look.

The summit seats are nice. They are actually better then i thought they would be. They sit higher then the stock ones which will take a little getting used to but it made my interior look 100 times better then before.

I have the same interior. It looks great! I am doing the same thing, but I'm just redoing the seats. I have the rear seat delete and the black carpet. One suggestion. Get the FRPP steering wheel and paint the airbag. My wheel was trashed. I am really pleased with the result. I used the bumper paint.

New seats look good and I almost want a set but these cloth seats that came in my GTS are so damn comfortable. Probly the most comfortable car seat ive sat in. And everyone who gets in my car says the same thing. So idk.

Yes, I totally agree! I snagged a pristine set of these ($85 for both!) and have never regretted it at all! I had crappy peeling faux leather before, and the upgrade in comfort after getting rid of those was worth three times what I paid.

Also, black carpet changes the look of the interior SO much, I highly reccommend it! It's a great touch.

I like it. I think I may get these eventually. I need black carpet myself. I worked as a mechanic for awhile and my driveside carpet and floor mat got trashed from my work boots.

Looks good. The black carpet and seats look better than I thought it would. I almost went that route, but was unsue on how it would look. Good job.

This thread has got me thinking about changing my carpet to black when I re-uphulster my seats. What all is involved with swapping the carpet? Does the dash also have to come out and is the factory carpet glued to the floor?

The dash does not need to come out, and the carpet is not glued to the floor (or if it is it's not very strong glue lol) Someone with good knowledge of how the seats and center console come out can have it done in less than an hour. You actually don't even have to take the center console out I don't think, it just makes things easier.

I'd love to replace all my tan pieces with grey. That would be nice.
