Targa top mustang

I'm sure it's possible... some subframe connectors and stuff... but what about chopping the roof like that? Getting a proper fit and seal would be difficult... and you'd have to fab up some kind of latching mechanism... But it sounds like a fun project. Has it been done? Anyone have any idea on how much a custom job like that would cost to have it professionaly done?

Pretend this "project car" happens to be a performance red 01 GT.

For something custom like that, if you have to ask about cost you can't afford it...

You'd be suprised what I can afford. Only reason I want to know about how much it would cost, is because if its just a rediculous waste of money, then I wont do it.

Anyone think they could photoshop up a prototype?

My local dealer does a custom power Moonroof for Mustangs for $999 it looks like factory installed, really nice look. If my car ever gets fixed ill probally get it.

Sunroof/moon roof is totally different from a t-top, why are they being talked about??? Sun/moonroofs are likd $1k from a Ford dealership.

A while back there was a pic of a t-top Stang. It was very ugly. I don't remember if there was a story to go with it.

i saw that, mustangs arnt made for t-tops, moon/sunroofs look good

you know, now that I think about it, I have never seen SN95 with factory sunroof....

I don't think you can get them factory...
But Ford will install one for a fee.
