Local guy is selling some stuff and I may pickup a BBK 75mm throttle body from him also. He wants 150$ for the TB with sensors, a CAI, and a trick-flow elbow.

My only mods are in my sig but obviously I will need a new manifold before I can use this stuff. But I was going to get it just to have ready. Will a 75mm TB be to much for a street build?

Also that elbow will work with any aftermarket intake right? Just needing to make sure before I buy this stuff tomorrow.

trick flow elbow...you mean the tube from the tb to the maf?

and yes, 75mm is probably too much tb if you dont have a stroker. i have a 70 cuz it was a good deal - its the biggest i can use with my setup.

Thats kinda what I figured. I was only going to buy this one because it was a good deal. The elbow I am referring to is the elbow that allows me to use a fox body intake manifold on my 1995. It just comes off the intake and the TB connects to it.

Think I should try a 65mm TB when I get a new manifold?

ohhh, i see. yes i would try a 65 or a 70, whichever you get a better deal on. how big is the inside of the elbow? that may be the deciding factor...

75 not kill low end or anything?

The elbow will fit a 75mm. Guy was running the two together before he went carbed.

No, a 75mm tb will NOT hurt low end at all.

I guess I'm gonna get it. If it idles terribly or something I can always try to trade it or sell it on here. I'm sure someone would trade a 75 for a 65 or something.

I got the stuff today. Very happy. 150$ got me a trick flow elbow, BBK 75mm TB with all sensors, and a what appears to be BBK CAI that goes into the fender. Can't beat the price.
