Engine Sick of stock TB and EGR spacer...

So I'm in the process of replacing a lot of stuff during the winter months on our 90 7 up convertible. The whole intake manifold is off the car right now.

Ever since I ditched the bbk 70mm throttle body I've dealt with coolant leaking between the stock EGR spacer and throttle body. The parts I bought were used. I'm assuming something isn't square. These manifold studs are trick flow and I put these on less than 2 years ago. Assuming it's not normal for them to be rusty? Maybe put anti seize on them?

Either way, I'm seriously thinking about buying a accufab 65mm throttle body and a pro m MAF sensor. But seems like a waste on a otherwise stock car.

And I don't feel like ditching the EGR....

Thoughts?

Edit: you can kinda see some coolant on the outside of throttle body by gasket.

Also my big question is, can I run a stock 94-95 mustang 5.0 MAF sensor if I install a 65mm throttle body? I read that they are 70mm? I can't find the bracket anywhere though to mount to the stock air filter box.

You need to run a straight edge over the TB, both sides of the spacer, and the upper intake and make sure it’s all flat.

You say you got rid of the BBK 70mm TB. Did you go back to a stock TB and continue to use the BBK 70mm spacer?

Stock TB and EGR spacer. I do have another stock TB and EGR spacer I could try.

Yes, you can run the 94-95 70mm MAF. Really the biggest issue is the adapter flange needed to bolt it into the fox air inlet due to it being a 4-bolt MAF.

A workaround is to find a 91-93 cougar 70mm housing and swap the 70mm electronics from the SN95 MAF over. The housings are exactly the same other than the cougar being a tube mount MAF on both sides and SN95 being 4-bolt on one side. Cougar electronics will not work for you though as the transfer curve is different. Really it comes down to what you can find/buy easier. The 4-bolt adapter flange or a cougar housing

91-93 t-bird housing would also work. Housing only though. The t-bird electronics are not compatible.

Well it took me 6 weeks but I have finally completed my 94/95 MAF install on my '92 5.0. Most of the time was spent doing an exhaustive search for a adapter so the MAF would attach to my cold air or for that matter any cold air intake. There simply is not a adapter available so I had to make my own. I ordered a sheet of 3/8" thick acrylic and a 3.5" outside diameter acrylic pipe. A friend of mine has a sign shop with a real nice lazer and he was able to map the MAF and cut the adapter. In the pic the "cracks" are not cracks but where the glue seeped between the 3/* and the pipe. Here's...
