It doesn't. It affects how you spin your tires.

well actually it would affrect your MPG, assuming all light to light.

I drive like an ass hole when I have my TC off because I like to chirp sometimes

I can believe it, when TC is on you can't luanch from lights, so your mileage would go up

Its a long shot, but it could make sense. Maybe TC monitors both the tire spin and the fuel delivery system.

So since TC is on, it maybe restricting the fuel delivery system a little (not running at 100% but like 90%).

Less fuel, better gas milage.

it does not affect your gas mileage.

all the TC system does is retard the timing/ cut cylinders and apply the brakes when the wheels are spinning. it has no effect on regular driving what so ever. when the wheels are not spinning nothing changes at all.

no it don't do that. when the wheels are not spining the traction control does nothing.

the traction control is a funtion of the ABS/PCM.. the ABS sensors provide wheel speed info to the ABS module. when the ABS module detects the rear wheels spining faster than the fronts it signals the PCM and the PCM cuts power using timming retard and droping cylinders. IF the wheel spin does not stop the ABS will apply the rear brakes to slow the rear wheels to the speed of the front wheels.

So as long as you have traction then the fuel tables and all other PCM funtions and brake funtions are normal.
