Team Continental Driver Training at P.I.R. - May 25

Why is this? Our spare is pretty secure. So nothing in the truck either (tool...belts)?
I thought so too, but that is what they had us do last time. I thought about leaving the spare at home but my luck I'd get a flat. Everbody is pretty cool and nobody messed with my stuff. I even left my camer in a bucket the instructer had with him. Brian has been more times than me so would know if they have always done this. Also at lunch time you can ride with your instructor in their car. Mine had a 71 Vette convertable that was a blast to ride in.

I would of loved to go, but I just don't think I can make it. I have been waiting for 3 months for Dart to ship me a block (I was told it was only going to be 3 weeks). I just got it, but I just don't see how I will be able to have it machined, assembled and reinstalled in time. I think I will go to the one in October and I will hit the Shelby club track days. I usually go to those. It would be fun to run with you guys.

Too bad your car won't be ready. Maybe we'll see you at one of the Shelby Club track days.

Yeah, I think Cascade Sports Car Club has track days, too.

Maybe you can hook us up with the Shelby club.....

More track time!!!

The Shelby club has a open track day on July 11, right after the historic races. I am planning on going to that and then up to Pacific Raceway for an open track that Saturday and for the Mustang roundup car show in Kent.

The Shelby club is open to anyone. I have been running with them for 6 years. What I like is, the open track days are like an action car show. There are some nice cars out there. Vipers, Shelby's, Cobras, Mustangs, Corvette's, Porsche's, etc.

If I can get my car running in time, I may go to the Cascade Sports Car Club track day on June 2,3. I will know if I get an engine this week.
