any one of u seen this beforei work at dealer well i check todays paper work this is what it said

temp delay not what i was hoping for the rims are 18 chrome bullit and trans is the tremec 3560 do any of u think its rims or trans

i thought that the 18" bullits were going to have late availability. i know some have gotten them already, but maybe there isnt enough yet to produce all the orders....

although the 3650 is in short supply the delay is probably due to the wheels.

I'm getting an 06 with the 18" polished Bullits. Last I checked, my build date was 2-10. I was going to call the dealer tomorrow to make sure everything was still on schedule. I hope there is no delay....I was planning on picking mine up shortly.

My o6 vert is on the truck now and my salesperson said 18' polished (not chrome)rims and manual trans orders have been delayed due to a backorde ron those parts. I ordered my car 01/06/06 and I was able to get mine that fast because I ordered auto trans and stock 17" rims. I have already purchased aftermarket rims and tires.

Just an update, my car is still on schedule and should be hitting my dealer's lot at the end of the week. Either I got lucky and my dealer gets first crack at what 18" bullits are available, or they punched in the wrong code and it'll shop up with different wheels :LOL:

I picked up my '06 manual GT on November 18th, and it came with the 18" polished aluminum Bullitts. I have not seen another Stang with them yet. Guess I got lucky! And I am just outside of Houston, so there are plenty of Stangs around.

Trans is the cause

When I picked up my 06 the Dealer told me that Ford is putting a hold on orders for new 06 with 5sp manual. Very short supply.

I know supply is short, but I don't know about Ford holding orders. I ordered my 06 at the end of December and got a call from the dealer today saying it had arrived on their lot. Unfortunately, I am out of town for work until next Friday, which is when I plan to pick it up
