Has anyone ever thought about putting the Terminator motor and tranny in an SN95? I was thinking about putting that into my 98 cobra... what would be the advantages and disadvantages of that set up versus just building up my 98 motor and swapping the transmission?

It's not a super uncommon swap. There are no disadvantages to the swap besides initial investment - though you will more than likely get greater bang for the buck with a 4v/T56 swap than you would with building your NPI motor and buying a transmission separate. There are lots of "little" bits that you'll need such as fuel tank/pump, ECU, air/water heat exchanger and tank/pump, wiring harness, etc etc.

If you have the money to do a terminator mill swap - DO IT!

If you can find one at the salvage yard, or if you have a donar car of some sort, it wouldnt be that hard at all.

I have seen it done in several fox bodies..

I was scratching my hairless head when I saw that. I was wondering if I was going to be the first person to point that out, but sadly, you beat me to it.
