TFS 1" Intake spacer

i have a track heat with a 1 inch spacer and by the looks of it, with the cowl closed, it sits about an inch-an inch and a half under my 5 inch cowl... if you want i can take a measurement in the morning tomorrow... my cowl is totally open soo i can see it with the hood shut

not to hijack the thread or anything...but why do some say that the 1" spacer hurts performance? I thought the whole purpose was to help not only with cooling but also with extending the runners to gain more low end...Does this apply to race cars since they nearly don't even stay long enough in lower RPM's to take advantage of it...? anyone know anything about this or is this one more myth floating around...? BTW: to answer your question...YES you will be fine...
