well doing my boost overlay today and got to the remove needle part, used the tool to pry off the needle and then I noticed the copper needle the plastic need attaches to was in there all limp. went ahead put the sticker on and reenstalled the needle to see maybe if that was normal..................................................................................nope. now I have NO boost reading at all. something inside broke, so now I have to try to figure this out. its always something. I was even following directions for once damn it.

That totally sucks!

Is the gauge cluster all one sealed unit, or can you replace just the boost gauge if need be? I've never had one off so I really don't know...

I took it completely out and there are bolts on the back so it looks like you can take it apart and maybe replace one item but it looks like it would require you removing ALL the needles and I am just not going to take the chance.

you can see where the needls sets on a cog and if I could get it to balance on it where it goes it should work but I think the suport backet is broken so it may only just rest there until I get on it then fall back off.

this sucks because I have put on white face guages on my 00 gt and I took off all the needles and didnt have a problem, of course it would happen to this car.
