I hear good things about Baumann http://www.baumannengineering.com/misc.htm and Transgo. With all your mods, why not get a Lentech Valvebody? I have the street terminator and love it. Firm shifts and OD delete.

How much did you pay for your tranny?

My tranny was rebuilt by a local shop, only the valvebody is Lentech. The valvebody runs in the area of 400.00 but sometimes they have sales that bring the price down some. I like it because it increases the longevity of the tranny, allows manual/auto control of the shifts, shifts firm, and I can turn OD off like on an AODE. Of Course my car is a street car. Closest it will be to a 10 sec 1/4 is passing it on the way to the 13's

If by the same thing you mean a better performing transmission and the ability to turn OD off, then yes. This does not however negate the other weaknesses of the AOD such as the 2pc input shaft and weak OD band just to name a few. Here is the link to Lentech to help you make a more informed decision. http://www.lentechautomatics.com/aodproducts.html
