People who live in California don't know what rust is. Rust is big holes in your fenders, the bottoms of your doors, palm-of-your-hand sized pieces of the car literally falling off...

That's almost as bad as rust from LA. The nice thing about California cars is that the highway department doesn't salt the roads where it snows. WHOO-HOO!!

lmao well this is Cali boys , either way the metal is pretty pitted, just making sure we get all the rust out of the little holes so we can seal her up real good.

Those few Californian's who have lived in the salt infested roadways of the East have seen the horrors of erosion. My surfer buddies and I would get rides from my mother in the early 80's in the famous "Cancer Mobile". A '74 LTD station wagon whose spare tire could be recognized from 10' feet away.

Ummm...

Don't even think that's rust, looks a lot like the red oxide primer I found as the last coat on my car before bare metal.

na I was just showing the pitting that happened because the owner (me) let it sit in the fog for the last 4-5 years with failing paint. Theres no rot on the car just some pits so I consider myself lucky. The bottom half actually looks cleaner than the top right now...lmao but its getting there.

As far as sticking my finger through some frame rails you should of seen my other car...lol I need to find some pictures.
