I just bought a mgw short throw .......its kinda scary because im using my tax return money......trying really hard not to buy anything else....but i kinda wanna get subframes, lca's or springs....i wanna save the rest in case of any emergencies, but those are rare, then i feel like spending it all. But when there really is an emergency i wont have anything ...hahahaha.....just my little mini rant....anyone who can relate?

Yup, I can relate...I just spent my whole tax return check on longtubes & install, but I really should have saved it because I need new rear tires.... Oh well, it was worth it IMO...

I like to keep afew thousand in my savings in case something unexpected comes up. Nothing ever does really. It just sits in my savings account. But of course if I went out and blew it, some B.S. would come up.

Yeah I can relate, I just ordered some lowering springs for my '01 gt with some of the money, Im trying so save the rest to buy a garage door so i can have a decent place to work on my cars. A couple of years ago i spent my whole tax return on heads, cam, and roller rockers for my 88 notch, btw it was definately worth it!

Yeah, but if i go out. I don't want people to see i had $32 in the bank and a fast car. Don't want to be remembered that way.
Might as well plan for the future, otherwise the good luck of living long becomes bad luck.

if you get the urge to spend it go with some MM full lengh sub frames. its a great bang for the buck mod. I got mine for 115 shipped and paid another $60 to have them welded in.

hahaha....feeding fuel to the fire, huh?..haha...i think the shifter is good for know......we'll see when i install it....but out of the springs, subframes, and lower control arms......which would show a significant handling increase...are the sub frames that good?

I would never reccomend going with just springs because the stock struts and shocks will not last long after you install them due to the added spring rate and when you hit a bump they will bottom more easily. rear lower controll arm may give your car an un-balanced feeling. I would go with the subframes first. You may also want to start looking into a strut/shock spring package from tokico or bilstien first.

Yep my whole return is going to the car Tires, align, tie rods, reg, insurance, SFCs, safety and fix the seat track. Good thing I love my car or I would just shoot it
