Yeah, with the traffic and everything it was easier to stop at Papa Gino's as it was on the same side of the highway. We stop at Kelley's EVERYTIME on the way home though!

I wish I was heading up today... my car is getting fully detailed in a little while to be ready for the mag editor when I arrive. hopefully he picks the car for a feature! be out of here first thing Saturday at 6AM.

Did you know you can get right on and off at Kelley's without changing direction on Rt. 1 when heading north? Just hop ff the exit immeditely past the overpass after Tweeter and Barnes & Nobles. Plus, there's now a Krispy Kreme across the street for dessert!!

Is this an official Ford event or an event for some club? Is there a web page sat up for this or something? or is this just a group of guys running around? If this is a full blown car show or some similar event I'd like to check it out and bring my cherry sweet 05' up.

Just got back. Awesome time! Lot's of fun. I ran my best ET of 12.77 @ 108 too. Nice! On many of my runs though, I was having a problem shifting into 3rd gear. I'm starting to regret the purchase of this damned Tremec. On the passes that I was able to get it into 3rd gear, it ran 12's. On the missed shifts it was running low 13's or worse. Uggggg!

My brother's 'stang shifts flawlessly with the stock T-5 and my car doesn't like to shift into 3rd on high rpm's. On the street it's fine. What gives? I was ready to pull it out and smash it to death.

good deal...

I ran my best ever passes to date too. 12.3-12.5's and there's definately more there with better air and some harder launches. what tremec do you have? what clutch and cable combo too? if you need me to give it hell for you at Tasca day I will.... I gave my 3650 all powershifts all weekend with a AFM Hi Rev in front of it.. held up pretty well to the abuse!

I've got the 3550 and no matter how we adjust the clutch, it doesn't help. I guess we'll have to pull it out and disassemble it to find out what's wrong.

The tranny, clutch, clutch cable and bellhousing were all brand new at the same time and all have less than 11,000 miles on them. I'm kind of bummed because I decided to get the stronger transmission to save myself the aggrevation of breaking T-5's. Ahhhhh!

As stated before, it shifts fine on the street but it doesn't like the 6,500 rpm shifts at the track.

its probably not the tranny then but the clutch itself. what brand did you go with? is it a weighed pressure plate design? I am using an Anderson Ford Hi Rev now and I was banging gears today at 5800-6k no issues at all. the clutch has a heavy pedal for a daily driver but works! I had a 3550 in my old 94 with a CF dual friction and Fortes quadrant and cable. the Forte part was a real POS.. the firewall adjustor would back off and cause the shifting to become brutal until I got underhood to set it time and time again. once set I could powershift that tranny with ease in every gear! I want a TKO 600 for my current ride.. the 3650 isn't gonna like me giving it hell on DR's and slicks for very long.

I've got the Centerforce dual friction clutch too. My cable and firewall adjuster are Steeda units and are in good working order. I'm kinda stumped.

thats probably your problem then. sometimes the clutches with weighted pressure plates build up too much vacuum and give you problems shifting at high rpms. this is the tradeoff for light pedal feel for the street. the Hi Rev is the exact opposite. has a heavier pedal feel but is made to be able to shift at 8K+ like the Real Street cars do without issue. I don't shift that high but the clutch was recommended for HP support as well as reliability.
