Let me apologize up front for being off topic, but I had to post this so someone could confirm that I haven't been slipped some acid or whatever new hallucinogens exist out there. In perusing this forum, you will run across some very strange, distasteful ****nit at times. For instance, I recently saw a rust bucket 68 that was all jacked up with huge mudders and a snow plow on the front. I, however, believe I have discovered the biggest POS anyone has ever conceptualized in the history of modern man. To top it all off, the owner wants @ $55,000 for this POS, that's right!!!, $55,000 for the god awful frankenstein vehicle he's put together. You simply have to check it out and post something. Check out the following link:

Thanks for helping me ensure that I'm not too mentally unstable.

so whats the last ultimate stupid looking ford? penultimate means second to the last.

Perhaps your car based on the description of how you evacuated the oil from the engine lol. Just kidding!! Give me a break. Its late and I've had too many :cheers:, or I would have never located such a stupid looking monstrosity to begin with.
P.S. I hope I wasn't flamed because its your ad. If so, it was very "creative."

haha it was a true story from srtforums.com. thats how the kid decided to chagne his oil on his srt-4 when he couldnt get the drain plug off.

Hey its a cool old truck, the box ruins it. Its far from being the uglyest thing Ive seen, in fact aside from the horrible choice in a box and purple flames its a beauty. It would make an Awesome rollback flatbed for hauling a vintage racer.

Heck, I kinda like it. But we also used to have a 4x4 Pinto wagon that had been converted to a Ranchero styled body by cutting the wagon part off and using a vega hatch off a Vega wagon as the back of the cab behind the front seat. It had 40" Ground Hawgs, a 289 with a 3-speed and a 2-speed transfer case. It was called the Pinchero and was in 4wd & Off Road magazine in '83 I think and we had it taken to the 4wd Offroad Jamboree in '84 where it came in 11th place out of several hundred vehicles. It was yellow and the only way it'd fit in our garage was to put the KC Daylighters on the roll bar on upside down facing the rear, so it was just under 7' tall. It was cool in that it was full time 4wd and I could burn rubber with all 4 tires thru a couple of gears, but if you went over 55 on the highway, it would try and bounce you to death. Most likely it was just our rough highways.

The only problem I have with that truck is the 80's bed and fenders, they're too boxy looking. Now if it would have had a 70's style dually box on it, I think that might have pulled it off. But I do agree, it would look better as a roll back or a wedge bed car hauler. My buddy is trying to build a '56 COE Big Window Crew Cab car hauler.

Well, if you want to bring modified cars into the dicussion of what is ugly then this is a whole new ballgame. Allow me to submit this candidate for the fugliest "restomod" Stang;

I actually like the truck except for the purple flames and modern pickup box. Like someone said It would make an awesome flatbed truck. I almost bought one two weeks ago at a swap meet. Same cab, excellent shape, in primer, sitting on 99 or newer 1-ton chevy frame and running gear. It was cool.

I'll get my flame suit on first.

"Eleanor" replica 67 Mustangs. All those lights on the front are a PIAA salesman's dream. Oh, and what's up with the tumor on the hood?

Too much crap on one of the nicest car shapes ever.

BTW I think the truck is kinda cool.

I don't think the truck is all that bad. I also agree that it should have a classic style box tho..

HOWEVER.. the biggest problem I see is that it's running a 700R4 transmission. Behind a 461ci engine and infront of a dually axle... That tranny wouldn't last more than a few miles with a leadfoot driving.

The box and the paint job are the reasons I found it to be hideous. Otherwise, its a fairly stock looking truck. But, IMO that dually box from a late 80's or early 90's model looks absolutely ridiculous when used with that cab. The box is so angular when compared with the cab, and I can't believe the person who built the truck didn't realize what a clash that would create. I have to admit, however, when I am wrong, and the two cars pictured in posts on this thread are indeed uglier than the $52,500 frankensteinmobile. :D
