The Ride is on the Road

Well the 96Gt hit the road today. I picked it up from its dusty storage location today and spent the rest of the afternoon scrubbing and cleaning. The car now looks great!
While I was at it I cleaned the K&N and replaced the plugs. The GT only has 80,000kms on it and I know they say the plugs are supposed to be good for 160,000kms but believe me the old plugs looked nasty.
A quick run out the 417 and all looks good.
I also put the original battery back in the car this morning, I am wondering if it will live another summer making it 10 years old, the longest I have ever had a battery.
Now the only known real nasty is the rising GAS PRICES!!!

I have installed a couple of clutches.
It IS NOT something you want to do laying on your back in the laneway.
Really you need a hoist, air tools and be sure you will either have to have the fly wheel machined or install a new one.
