So im cruisin along at about 35 mph in the puring down rain last night..... i was gettin ready to turn onto the onramp to get on the freeway. But right before i was about to slow down and turn, im hydroplaning, no control, nothing i could do. Flew right up onto the little cement islands and busted up my front end... No body damage, but a whole new front suspensions gonna be needed, plus my LF rim broke, no not bent, broke Im in a low sad state

not to try and add insult to injury, but got any pictures?

could've been worse though, right? gotta think like that. just imagine if you bit a guard rail or a cement barrier instead of popped up on an island. suspension AND body damage. pretty sure it's not all that bad.

hey dont feel bad. **** happens and your stang could be a lot worse. Thats how i look at it. I was hit and run about 2 weeks ago and this left me with a cracked bumper, spoilers ruined, need a new hatch, and also a left tailight w/ housing.

As long as it's fixable & you were not hurt it was a good acident.

On a fox body, the front end is probably easier/cheaper to fix than body/frame work. So you may have lucked out

I've got a nice wreck story that might make you feel a little better. I had my car the nicest it has ever looked for the 2005 fun ford weekend car show at Norwalk Raceway. I live a few miles from the track, so I drove it home Saturday night with the intention of putting it in the garage for the second day of the car show. Well, my girlfriend talked me into driving it that night, and I hit a doe. Luckily it wasn't too big and I breaked at the last second (from 70 to around 50). I thought the car was f'd, but besides a little shifting of the front the only thing damaged was my cervini's fiberglass hood. Not a big deal (it's quasi-hidden now my touch-up paint) except for it killed any chance I had in the car show. Not sure if any of this makes you feel better, but what I'm saying is that it happens and you're not the only one.

Hey I know how it feels my 89 foxbody was stolen last year while it was raining 10 mins after it was stolen hit a curb and took out my rear end. Three months for my insurance compnay to get moving and another month for 2 shops to turn me down and took me 4 tow trucks to get it from one shop to another and I actually had one or two trucks actually turn me down and didn't want to move my car but it was totally worth it in the end but anyways good luck I hope that helps u feel a bit better. lol and trust me the lug nuts and bolts were still on the rim lol
