I installed a Johnny Lightning Ram Air on my buddies about 10 years ago (had like 400 miles, he wouldn't drive it). Because the supercharger was basically under the interior dash the blower whine was extremely loud inside the cab. We got 1.5lbs of extra boost out of the kit but also took me like 6 hours to install it (fender well removal, etc.). That truck very quick (black like the one posted earlier).

There was one that a older man ragged out in my town. He uses it as a everyday work truck and it was sadly very ruff. Back 13 or so years ago when I had my first Mustangs I would go to the local track and the same truck with a different owner had it running 12s. It had a few distinctive things done to it that you can still see today and it still sounds the same (cam lope and exhaust) but the shine and beauty is long gone. Sad sad sad.

no where close to being as fast as my LX or what my 01 was... but they ran like 14.8 stock which this one is. and think its going to stay. really dont have the time to dick with it so if it gets anything done it will be down the road.

Lightnings are pretty terrible on fuel. Even stock mine got about 13-15mpg average with alot of highway commuting. When i drove all city it was closer to 11mpg. Thats a big part of the reason i ditched mine, but that was my favorite vehicle besides my mustang. Miss that thing

yea something about a blown 5000lb brick in the wind doesnt scream fuel sipper. when gas got to 4.50 was the breaking point for me it was getting between 500-600 a month in gas then the payment on top of it and insurance... it was making me go broke...
