are a CAI, chip, and underdrives worth there cost to see any performance gains? thing is i need to buy a new crank pulley because the stocker is kinda messed up from where i bought it.. please dont flip out about the CAI, as i have no flipping idea about 4.6s lol i make 8.50 an hour.. pay for gas and food.. so i need to find the cheapest and best mods for the money.. also is there any JY or DIY mods that you can pick up anything on? thanks

I would really say gears is the best mod..The 4.6 loves to rev.For a CIA take ur air slincer out put a drop in k&n in there if you want to add some cheap poneys..UDP's will add hp but a nice cat back would be better then udps..And say if you dont have the money for a cat back do what i did..Get some mufflers put them in and if u have some cash left over get some tips..

JLT intakes work good. There worth it, they look good and help rev a bit. Only CAI on the market that Id buy, so I did.

The silencer is the snorkel that sticks from the airbox into the fender. Pulls right out. I'd skip the CAI too...at least if you're trying to get more for your buck. I'd skip the chip too. If anything get a handheld tuner like an SCT Xcalibrator. If you gotta get the new pully, might as well get a decent set of them to replace them all. A catless mid-pipe is probably one of your best bets for some a little power for fairly cheap. And as everyone else will say...gears!

Or just sell it and buy a PI car.

They better than demolet? I've heard alot of good things about their tunable induction system.

I have no Idea, I can tell you that with the thickness of the plastic and the large diameter of the pipeline heatsoaking isnt a problem. Plus the larger diameter and longer length help tune the intake volocity a bit. I felt the gain around 2,500 rpms to 4,500 rpms. I have the fuel kit.

The Demolet has the 90 degree bend before the MAF which is bad, the JLT Doesnt.

Congrats on your new car.
Steeda underdrive pulleys are the best pulleys for your car because
they are non-piggyback.I would start by doing Steeda underdrive pulleys,
a Magnaflow Magnapack catback, and a drop in K/N air filter.
The CAI's really don't do alot on are cars maybe good for 1-3 rwhp on
a dyno. So,I would just save your funds and just do a drop in K/N.

Steeda # 1, having just switched from a 99 GT with Steeda UDP's to a
04 GT with stock pullies I can really tell the difference although not huge
but enough to notice. I also had a MAC CAI on the 99 but will now stick
with the OE intake + K&N...........

Yank the silencer off the intake, then do a search on here for the J-mod and pick yourself up a midpipe. I'd pass on the pulleys if you do alot of city driving and go for gears.

I'd save your money and do a pi swap. that would give you the most power, for the least amount of money next to nitrous.

then gears. 4.10s no less .

before you buy ANY of those mods, get a tranny cooler. you could get the gauge too if you want to be extra safe and monitor temps. it will cost you around 100 bux if you can install everything yourself. the second thing i would get would be subframes.
