Things to know for installing new headlights?

i just had all mine out for paint, and i thought it was easy. i removed headlight first, then inner, then outer. but it doesnt matter. takes about 5 minutes to do.
enjoy.
oh, and Victoria, huh. i think i stayed at a place called 'The Empress' about 20 years ago.

i remember it was a nice place. i was a little kid but thought the whole town was very nice.
anyhow, how did your lights install go?

cardude, good point. forgot to mention that. i just set them all in and wiggled them till they seated the way i wanted. i did not do that on one side, and ran into the problem you mention.

ALMOST STOCK, I put them in but had some fitment problems. Yours look like they are in there pretty good, did you have to do anything out of the ordinary? Main problem was the metal piece in the back, near the top of the blinker lights seemed too deep, and they kind of stick out... did you have any problems like this?

I had about the same problems your speaking of. It was just a process of changing a few things here and there. For starters my Stalker bumper only had the holes for the headlight casted (drilled) on one side, so it was a process putting the lights in marking places that needed to be drilled, and then take the lights out and drill until I got things to work.
Also one of the legs on the lights didn't protrude far enough throught the hole which caused the light to lean so I had to file off parts of the flat stop. It's just about like any aftermarket pieces, you sometimes just have to work with it.

I was in hurry, I didnt fit anyhting, I just bolted them up, this is with no adjustments..
the left main light needs to come down a little.

Mine looked just about the same when I started. A little tweak here and there is just about all you need to make them fit.
