could you make a cobra intake flow about as good as a trickflow or edelbrock?

sry dumb question just curious

cuz after a while id need it ported

Not a dumb question. Yes I can get the Cobra/GT40/Explorer intake to flow enough to use TW, AFR or Eddelbrock heads.

how much are we looking at to get it ported??? i may bum my buddies stock intake off of him while this one gets ported...

I don't know why there's any arguing about this- but whatever. My best friend is a Ford/Lincoln/Mercury service manager and he says temp based. He fixes Fords, is/was trained by Ford, paid by Ford....temp based.

I have some tweecer logs of open/closed loop operation and the particualr car this was logged in did not go closed loop until temps were over 130*. Just one of those graphs is posted below.........
