Congrats Mac! Good job getting those boys home.

Talking on cell phones - blah. Hands-free....handful, pretty much the same. I don't think its the lack of the extra hand that's the danger, I think its the lack of concentration since most of the stupid people in this world are barely capable of doing one thing well at a time...two is pure mensa. I do talk on a cell sometimes, but usually its during bumper/bumper rush hour...where I'm creeping at 10mph. Not perfect, but I'd rather see that than at 70mph.

EXACTLY...

try watching a movie or reading the newspaper or watching basketball or hockey while talking on the phone...you'll miss a lot, and none of those activities should get any less attention than piloting a 3000+ car....

grrrrrr...I hate cell phone drivers...

Hey congrats man!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im happy for you both.

Thanks, its getting there....but its a slow go .

Oh yea, the reason I was saying wives is because one area of ohio has a cult or whatever where the guys marry a TON of differnt girls lol. So I figured the guys causing wrecks were to busy talking to their wives haha. I have no idea if thats anywhere close to you though...just messin with ya.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: trying to justify/downplay one wrong with another is like pissing in the wind.

You're upset that street racing fatalities get more attention than other fatal accidents? Face it, nowadays an 18 year old in a Mustang who takes out another countries Royal Family makes a better headline than one of the hundred DUI/DWIs that happen every day. The media has always picked their stories carefully, its not gonna change. Besides, last time I checked, ANYONE guilty of a DUI gets their name in the paper, regardless of whether there was an accident or not, let alone a fatality.

Be safe out there, whatever your crazy asses do on the road.

hahahaha nice dude, 300 free diapers FTW. Well just think of the number of times you do #1 and #2 during a week, probably take 2/3 of that number and thats the number of diapers you use during the week. Thats just speculation, if my kid is anything like me I should start buying shares of Huggies stock now...

I found this pic while searching for something unrelated and thought it was kind of ironic to this thread. A guy taking his car the the track is rear-ended by a guy on his cell phone.

Congrats to Mac. Get ready for sleepless nights, and 300 diapers is a drop in the bucket.

Wow. If that was my car, I would take the Jeep driver's soul

I think the perfect caption for that picture would be "It's a Jeep thing"

300 diapers might last you a couple months. I don't have kids, but been around enough to know you go thru like 5-10 diapers a day sometimes. Unless you're one of those people I see/smell at Wally World that lets their child stink for hours. I've actually heard people say...."why bother, they'll just ruin the new one."

I saw a guy reading a novel in traffic the other day. I'm not talking about stop and go traffic. I'm talking about speedlimit 55 but you better be doing 80 to keep up traffic.
