Anyone using the Tinman subframe connectors, particularly on a 67/68 FB? Looking for feedback from people who have actually installed and are using this product before I move forward and purchase. They look like a nice fit and install, but how well do they perform?
I love 'em. If you don't mind doing the convertible underseat reinforcement as well, and running the subframes through them like I did, you will gain a lot of stiffness amidships. It will end up tying the rockers to the subframes and the front and the rear subframes in turn! They added quite a bit of stiffness to my convertible - now when you jack up the left rear, for example, the left front comes right up with it.
