You don't know what you had until its gone. I refer a lot of people to these threads for informative info. That's too bad. I guess S@#$ happens. I'm a computer tard and even I backup my work computer every two weeks or so mostly for memo's, word documents and e-mails that are important for liability reasons. Too bad. I was just telling a guy at MustangForums to come over for the info and maturity of our Saleen section.

OK, Done bitching.

At least we only lost a few months of content. I am surprised things are not backed up more often but I don’t know what all is involved or if backing up a the forums disrupts real time functions of the site.

What i find odd is that i can still go through my own posts and find ones i have made (i think).

Also i notice they only give the saleen section 2 pages regardless but the pages we can't see still show up during a search.

So it may be possible if even one here goes back through all their posts and TTT's them, you could find alot of them.

edit:
Went through my history.
The only ones missing will be from february to last week. That's not the end of the world i guess.

Yea, I noticed similar search functions working on older threads from early this year. Maybe they are "piecing" it back together?

Ha. There used to be a time when I could browse and post on several StangNet forums. Those days are gone and I only get a chance to look at this Saleen forum now. Keep in mind; I have been on this site since 11.07.01.

HEHE

I don't just sit around at work and play on the internet all the time... Sometimes I go for a drive, talk on the phone, or meet up with friends for lunch

My idea of multi-tasking: Driving the car to/from lunch and talking on the phone while I send emails from the Blackberry when traffic allows
