This aint going to work... Easiest and Cheapest Way to 400 Hp.

Do some searching I like the procharger but after hearing about leaking seals and seeing a buddies who's was leaking I don't know. Also check some of the online SC places I saw somewhere you could get a SQ kit for 2500 do some research. Too many webpages ago sorry don't remember which one.

The KB is more money mostly because is comes with an intake manifold to replace the Ford plasic one. By the time were to add a Bullit intake or a P51, to a centrifugal, it is not any cheaper. This argument has been gone over and over a hundreds of times. Most people agree the best way to get a rock solid, relaible 400RWHP for a street car, is the KB kit. I have yet to hear any complaints about this set up from anyone who actually has one.

Yea.. im thinking just doing the Supercharger with an intercooler...

Is the procharger a reliable unit? its realitively inexpensive compared, im thinking i saw it for $3399 or such.. still have money left over for exaust and gears...

Reccomendations?

Dont forget that with that much power you will need to build your rear up.

I have not had any leakage problems with my Procharger, it is important not to overfill the head unit with the oil they supply. The intercooler is nice because you can run higher boost on pump gas with intercooler than a non-intercooled. The lowered intake air temp. an intercooler provides makes a real difference. Whatever way you go, set aside money for the dyno-tune and chassis parts/labor.

Guy I know went 13.25@104 with his bone stock 04 GTO, and that was with not so good traction, he spun in third. That is pretty darn good for a heavy car.

Exactly, but a bolt-on GT can beat one without any of the power adders everybody is suggesting.

One of my good friends in New Mexico ran a 13.09 at 109 in Louisiana. His mods were: BBK LTs, BBK o/r X pipe, welded-in flowmasters, worn-out nittos, pro 5.0 shifter, C&L CAI w/ 85mm MAF, and u/d pullies.

my vote goes for a NOS setup up if your trying to keep it cheap. just make sure you upgrade your fuel pump, maybe even the injectors to play it safe and get a GOOD tune.

otherwise if you dont mind spending the extra then go for the supercharger.

build it and they will come.

rear ends are for girly maan. who needs axle splines and spider gears anyway? have any of you seen an axle rolling out of the end of a rear end. you can make about 300 ft before dropping to one axle end. LOOKS funny.

new article

guy whipped a math equation in 5.0 mustang or mm$ff a guy had a one page article about how dropping 600 lbs in a mustangs would get the equivilant of a 50 of nx in a quarter mile then put it to test and they were pretty close the nx won by a bit but that abig difference i knew was important but didn't think it could be that much
