I was on my way to a charity car show that my Mom mentioned to me in my 93 LX. I pass a Tahoe and turn right and I notice in the rear view mirror that the Tahoe followed me around the corner cutting two lanes to do it. I am thinking this is just a typical Texas driver on the phone or something.

So there I am driving along when the Tahoe pulls side by side with me. I am thinking "I can take a Tahoe even in my near stock car right?" (see my dyno day post). The driver honks the horn, so I look over and he says something.

I say 'What?" and turn the radio off. He says "Do you want to sell that mustang?" I politely reply "No" and he turned around to go the other way.

I know that there are pics of this car on this site, Electric Red Metallic / Black Metallic on the back with Black Ponys (polished lip). The paint on the roof and hood are starting to peel.

I don't personally consider the car really nice myself, but just to have someone ask "Do you want to sell that car?" made my day! :D

The Wife and I took the Saleen to Portland last weekend. We were driving down the street there and a guy in an RX8 pulled up next to me, rolled down his window, honked and gave me a "thumbs up". Then, on the way back to Seattle in a freaking downpour, a lifted four-door, 4WD Chevy truck full of 20-something guys passed me. They were all hanging halfway out the windows in this torrential rain, whooping, hollering and giving me the high sign. That there was a pretty good day for the car ego.

I only drive it on the weekends now. I bought this car brand new, so to me it is kind of like my child. It did remind me of when I was younger though and I was the one pulling up next to people and asking! :D
