Did your car come with floormats, and if so were they special at all? Mine only came w/ fronts, no back mats and they were plain jane type. No "SVT" or "Cobra" on them.
Anyone out there buy the 04 Mystichrome? Anything else special/different from the rest of the Cobras except for the paint, seats, and steering wheel?

I got front floor mats. They didnt come with rear floor mats. Nothing Special about them. The Anniversary models had a 10 annv svt badge on them.

Yep... same here... I heard you can get the Anniversary Cobra floormats for $44 from the parts dept. at your local dealer though! Now THAT's a deal!

Yeah, I am getting ready to order an extra set of the 10th ann's. For less than $50 I was hard pressed to find anything better.

I wanted to keep my matts in good shape so i took them out so the emblem with the 10th anniversary SVT wouldnt get screwed up...

Advanced auto, and i think Auto Zone, have black matts w/a embroidered Blue oval FORD racing emblem on them...i put them in and they look ok, they were like 26.00.

For the money we should be getting better mats than this. Look like they came out of an escort.

I am also suprised that there isnt a cobra in the grill area. I ended up buying one off ebay and the guy lives close to me so i picked it up and he was telling me that he runs a company that goes to the dealership and installs emblems and pinstriping at the dealership level...For the money you would think Ford would do it...We paid enough for it!

Lets face it, a running horse dosent quite fit for what we have!

1993 floormats

the 93 cobra had its own special floormats. Now they are impossible to find and cost a fortune when you do find them. But they add a nice touch to the vehicle. I don't understand why Ford stopped doing that with the newer ones.

Same problem we had. You would think that Ford could buck for a set of 4 mats after you've spent $30-40K for a new car, but I guess that's what I get for thinking.

I kept the "plain Jane" factory mats in the event somebody wants them when I sell this car, (still hanging in my garage as I type this), but then I went on e-Bay and found a set of these...........

I forget exactly what I paid total, but I do remember that it was less than $100.00 for the set of 4 delivered to my front door......... paid about $10.00 extra to do the "Buy it Now" thing at e-Bay 'coz I'm the impatient type, too.

They DO have a FoMoCo part # though.............and I'm pretty sure that you can still get a set through your dealership for around $65.00 if you don't mind waiting.

So if trends continue it would be a good idea maybe to buy the 10th anniv floor matts for the time when the they are hard to find....$50 now is better than impossible to find later down the road.

HI HO HI HO its off to FORD i GO!

no, no, no, those are not the REAL 1993 Cobra mats. The real ones have the letters COBRA written along the side in red. A new set of those can go for over $200 if you can find them.

I was bitchn about things like this and a friend told me this... He said "Think About it, if they added $1.00 part to every car they make, that would end up costing them over a $1,000,000". Point is, little amounts become vast amounts quickly in large numbers.

Just passing on a little wisdom.
