So im getting a s281 spoiler for xmas Does it bolt in factory holes? or are new ones reqired and old ones filled?? I can get everything done for close to nothing so im not worried, but it would just be easier if all i had to do was paint and go.

I beg to differ mine was no where close to lining up and had to drill more holes to install it. Total pain in the butt but well worth it.

I guess it is just luck of the draw then because mine had no alignment issues, although saleen is famous for making things pretty rough, I had to have a lot of prep work done on the saleen body kit but it is well worth it because the quality is pretty good.

no worries man. gotta love the look
mine bolted to the 2 stock rear holes and then double sided tape all around.

best of luck on that wing.... its all luck of the draw...
First one i got was completely unusable. Multiple body shops refused it. The second wing was an even worse fit but had a little less pits and scrapes. ...it took way way too much time and money to make it sit right (and it still does Not fit 100% right) , but in the end, it looks awesome so it was worth it.

Was yours an authentic Saleen spoiler or an aftermarket?

I've never heard of the authentic 94-98 spoilers not lining up properly.

I bought mine directly from SALEEN and not only did it not line up but it did not contour the shape of the car it was flat as a board. I had to heat gun it and mould it to the shape of the car to fit.

I like Pro3 and all I got was this crappy CT.

My hole was almost lined up. Almost. But I needed to enlarge the factory hole a bit.
And then I had to have body shop to heat the spoiler to match the contour of car.

And painted 3 times beofre paint finally stick.

Not to mention I had to pay shipping 3 times, because they shipped spoiler, bolts and LED light in 3 separates pkg(with 1-2 weeks in between)

Its best looking spoiler for our car IMO, and worst quality as well. And they will NEVER gonna get penny of my money. EVER

Good luck to original poster
