Does anybody have a link to the thread which showed various Ford shift knobs installed in Mustangs? I can't find it and now all of a sudden the search button isn't working for me either (not that it works in talk anyway).

I have a good feeling that thread is long gone, so if you have pics of shift knobs, post them up!

Yea - I figured...
Didn't you have a Ford Tarus shift knob in yours? Or was it someone else? I remember a statement in the thread about a Taurus knob being identical to a particular year Mustang knob, except either lighter or darker than the Mustang version.

No i have a Mach 1 knob in my GT and my stock GT's leather knob is in the Fox.

I beleive it was a taurus SHO knob that you were thinking of. It was the same as the 94-98 Cobra leather knob except different color leather or something.

The thread pitch for the shifter is M12 x 1.75...so there might be other cars with this knob that you can use as well...problem is not a lot of cars have attractive knobs really.

It's a B&M shifter. It's getting a bit worn, but I love the feeling.
