Ok.. I have a 94 F-150 I'm putting a 92 5.0 into and I need to mount the throttle cable. The trucks bracket isnt going to work and its cable may very well not but before I scrap them, I need to know how a Mustang's throttle cable is mounted.

Mainly, if anyone could describe (or take a picture.. =] ) of the Mustangs throttle cable and mounting bracket I would greatly appreciate it. Does it mount from the rear of the intake or the front?

My trucks throttle body normally sat in the middle of the engine bay facing the driver side and the cable came in from the driver side and mounted on the intake itself. The trucks setup isnt going to work from the look of it so I need to figure out how the 5.0 was setup in the Mustang..

Anyway, thanks much folks.

Mustang throttle cable is routed behind the intake along the firewall, and connects to the bottom of the throttle body from the back.

I don't see why the stock intake couldn't work this way -- the GT40 certainly does.
