2000 gt. can i get a BBK throttle body & plenum and keep the stock air intake?

Yes you can. Your intake tube will fit over the new TB.

Yes but you're still choking a bit of power. You're always better to start at the farthest point out and work backwards. A CAI is cheap,especially ones that reuse the factory mass air meter.

Just replace the stock air filter with a K&N. That will free up enough air flow

CAI's don't do much.You should just installed a drop in
K/N air filter and be done with it.I would do the BBK
intake plenum and 70 or 75mm TB you should see some
top end gain.

i got the JLT Cold Air and i noticed a rather large gain in the HIGH rpms... when i was datalogging the other day w/ my predator i was getting ambient air temps w/ my IAT sensor...

at best the TBplenum gives you 7hp and thats if you have CAI, midpipe, headers, catback... and a buncha crap. ive got midpipe, catback, intake and plan on getting a tb/plenum after a few more mods...

Agreed. All these parts with compliment eachother. If you do just one instead of the other, you wont notice much SOTP gains until they can all work together.
