I recently purchased a Trickflow Track Heat intake manifold for my H/C/I combo. It will be Trickflow intake, gt40x heads, and e303 cam. The opening on thee intake is 75mm. My question is should i go with a 75mm Throttle body or a 70mm? Also which brand should i go with? Thanks!

Some will say that too big will hurt throttle response. My opinion, buy the biggest one you can get, or need (75mm opening) so that you are not wishing later that you hadn't bought the smaller one, or in need of a bigger one because of a new direction in your project. In all honesty, 70 to 75mm probably will make very little difference if any. If you were already running a 70mm, I would say don't waste your money on another. But the cost difference is almost none if buying new.

I'm with Joe on this one.. i don't see the point on building a nice HCI car and putting a small TB on it. A smaller TB may be a wiser choice for something that spends most of its time as a driver, and a bigger TB for something more racier but either way SOTP I doubt you'll ever tell the difference.

Buy whatever size throttle body will match up to the neck diameter of your intake. My Holley has a 75mm opening, so I bought a 75mm accufab.

Ive heard bad things about professional products and TFS so I bought myself a 70mm BBK for my cobra intake.

Go for a 75mm TB to match the intake opening. I have a Summit Racing TB and it's a very nice piece.
