I've heard TB spacers do nothing other than make a whistling sound. The intake spacers they make for GTs and Cobra's are alot more effective if anything..but I've yet to find an intake spacer for a v6.
I got one of those, along with a BBK cold air intake and new Flowmasters, and there was very little gain in power. I got mine all at the same time, and I could not tell much difference. It's a little faster and a little louder, but don't expect much. I have pretty much decided to forget trying to get any power out of a 150hp Taurus hand-me-down engine, and I'm just keeping it running and looking nice to get me to work and back. In about 1 year I should be completely out of debt and I will go '97 Cobra hunting. In the meantime, at least the Flowmasters sound a lot better than stock. That should hold me for a while.
