A guy in my neighborhodd has a used BBK 70mm TB, EGR spacer, and Mass air Meter for sale. He is parting out his wrecked car. I have a stock upper/lower intake with a cold air kit. I was wondering what the gains are on a stock motor with good exhaust. What do I look our for? What should I pay? I would like to buy because later I will buy some real haeds and Upper/lower intake.

Suggestions welcome!

You wont gain much of anything just swapping out the tb on a stock motor, 5 hp max I believe. Someone on here will have a better idea though. If your planning on doing the intake and heads soon it depends on the combo you will be running for the TB size.

If its all in good condition, buy it and save some $$ for other stuff

i would get a 65mm TB if i were u unless u plan on some heads or supercharging it in the future... u would see more gains with a 65... 70 is a lil over kill...
