I just replaced my TPS on my 1996 cobra cause i bought it and the guy before me installed a nitrous throttle sctivation switch which splice into one of the wires and when i got it it was not putting out the correct voltage at idle and WOT position so i bought a new sensor and it fixed it the voltage is now corect at idle and WOT but it has no power til 3500 rpm...so do i need to take it somewhere and get it calibarated..i bought the TPS from oreilly's auto parts...what do yall think i need to do???

Just make sure the throttle blade is resting on the pins inside of the sensor. Determine with your pinky which way the pins turn and slide onto the blade to ensure it is activating the potentiameter.

Is the check engine light on???
