Hey guys,
I have an 01 GT, 5 speed with 32,000 miles and recently the throw out bearing was squeeling so I took it in to be replaced under warranty. Which the dealer did with no questions. They even replaced the radio because it was eating CD's. Anyway, when I got it back the clutch now grabs so far out. It used to be about and inch or two from the floor. Now it's about 3 or 4 inches. It's my understanding that these clutches are self adjusting. Is that true and was I just used to the way it used to be and I will adjust? Is this because the throw out bearing was bad? I am not the original owner so don't know what it's susposed to feel like from the factory. Is there anyway to adjust it without hurting it? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Dave
