I'm thinking about a combo with Thumper heads and a Stealth intake I have, but I don't want to bother him with a bunch of questions because my probable purchase is likely several months away.
I'm thinking 10:1 CR stock bore 327 stroker with a B303, the Stealth intake and Speed Demon 650 Vac secondary. I want a torque engine for a street rod, so I'm willing to sacrifice hp for torque. The B303 will give it the idle I liek and make enough hp for the project maximum weight of 2500 lbs.
I've thought that even keeping it a 302 would probably be powerful enough for what I want.
My biggest thing is I want it to be resonably powerful and pretty much bomb proof. I don't want to have to fiddle with it to get it running. I want to be able to hit the key and go have fun driving it with pump gas.
GA was cool!!!!!!!!! first round 8.091 2ed 8.095 3rd 8.092 4th opps 8.087 well can.t win them all but you can scar the **** out of them !!!!. 60ft was 1.789 , .008 .012 .015 .001 lights oweeeee!!!!!!!!!!! so far the # went from 8.68 to 8.08 but i am only shifting at 5600, what was the rpm range of that cam, I can post

I got to run my car awhile back at the track with my new set-up using ur heads
spec's:
stock 302 block
forged pistons/stock rods/crank
F303 cam
stealth intake
holley 600 carb
thumper heads(upgraded spring package)
1.6 roller rockers
1 3/4 bbk full lenghts/ x-pipe
T5 2.95 ratio/ 3.73 gears
NA run: 12.69 at 105 1.8 60'
put a nos 100 shot on and ran a 11.99 at 118 with leaking nos fitting and losing nitrous pressure.
just wanted to give u some times on what ur heads can do even in NA set up pulll all through rpm even as high 7000 with no valve float.
