Hey i would do it if i was them! They don't exactly have a good reputation with the reverse engineered products they currently have out.

If you'd like another alternative that is made in the USA look at

that intake looks nice, and I really like the cooling mod fix they did, this is exactly what I planed to do once somebody came out with a aluminum intake, I was going put a bung in and run a crossover to eliminate the two hot cylinders 7,8 ( rear drivers side)

Well just in case anyone other than me was interested I emailed HPS to see if their intake would be 50-state legal with an OE# from CA and below is the prompt response I got from them.

"We will apply for an EO to get our exemption as soon as we get the HPS 4.6 Hardball'r on the market. Some law enforcement agencies have asked about replacing the Crown Vics and Mustangs that have the plastic intake with the HPS intake. They require the CARB exemption. So yes, it is our intent. If I understand correctly (excuse me for my English...):

HPS intake: $795
Bullit intake: $909

It isn't a big difference, between a Ford OEM manifold and the HPS that isn't on the market yet, what do you think?

Thanks again!!!
The Bullit intake will end up costing you over $1500 after you get all the parts needed to use it.

Sorry guys I kinda lost track of this thread. I am getting mine through a friend who has just started selling mustang performance parts. I dont even know the name of his shop lol.

Oh and I dont really have a plan with my car. I think after this I'll go with some suspension and call it done.
