I have a ticking noise that comes around at about 1300 rpm, and continues while accelerating. But when the car is parked, or in neutral, and I rev it up it doesnt make the noise? Any help!!

could be a small exhaust leak cause you will hear a leak more under load than when park

Yeah that also, but I think It would be a rocker, a lifter will decompress some times and beat around on the cam, and make a horrible like loud tick or bam, everyone in a while but not constant, do this: go out and do a 1-3 gear run at wot, it if goes away it could have been a lifter, it it remains it is more than likely the rockers, do you have rollerz?

I'm with Roland on this one. Check for an exhaust leak first, it's easier than pulling valve covers. I've been CERTAIN I had a valvetrain noise, just to find out it was a small exhaust leak between the header and the head.

I've seen the same thing on here where people are sure they have a valvetrain noise, and it's just an exhaust leak.

Rule out the exhaust leak first, and go from there.

Thanks For the input, I am going to start with the exhaust and go from there.

Well, my frist thought before this thread was to change the oil, I didnt do it after I bought the car like i should have. That didnt fix my problem, then I took Roland69 and JChalfan's advise and checked for an exhaust leak. Sure enough, three of the header bolts were loose toward the firewall, I tightened them up and it stopped. Thanks Again Guys!!
