Ticking noise after that car has shut off??? The only thing that I can think of is.. possibly the exhaust cooling?? Thats a pretty typical sound given the season.
Could you give a more decriptive location of the sound??
Most likely the noise is all the hot engine and exhaust parts cooling down. If you are in a cold climate now thats probobly what it is.
