ticking

My motor makes a ticking noise while at idle.... someone said loud fuel injectors, others said timeing chain rubbing..... does anyone else make a ticking noise?

mine does it very faintly. Its just the injectors. If its really loud like somethings making contact then you should worry

mine did it before i installed the new engine. It was the timing chains contacting the tensioner arms. wore the silicon guides clean through. find out if the noise is coming from the front of the engine. that'll be a good indicator.

i got it too.. mines comeing from my bellhousing i think theres a tsb for it. i bot my car to a ford dealer they said its nothing to worry about good thing my flows just drone it out.
