Went to Tillman Speed today. Great shop, friendly people. Got a couple of shots of the Edelbrock s/c install they are working on. Neat install looks like a stock part at first glance.

Hopefully that's a picture taken with a time machine of my car in a year or so.

Man wishful thinking sucks....

I like the look with the valve cover "covers"! Is that an option and just not installed on this car?

I hear ya on wishful thinking, Walter!

I'm not a fan of the plastic covers and certainly not ones with all the commercials plastered all over them. WTF - you pay huge dollars for the s/c and then have to provide ongoing free ad space? Not on my car!

Well the covers are not plastic. They are light metal that are powder coated. A really nice piece actually. Now as for the Ede name all over them...........

The covers come with the kit, they just were not installed on the OP's picture. If I get that kit, I'll probably do the same thing.

Yeah, not impressed with the name plastered everywhere either..

Even worse - powder-coated cast advertisements - I wonder what they cost.
